| The 2011 Ford Mustang
will be a carry over model from the refreshed version in 2010 with
a few signifigant changes taking place under the hood. New engine
choices for the 2011 Mustang include a new 400 horsepower 5.0-liter
motor and a new Duratec 3.7-liter V-6 engine which will replace
the 4.0-liter V-6 the Mustang has used for several years. The upgrades
in the engine department for the 2011 Mustang were needed to meet
the demand of their competitors who have signifigantly more horsepower
in their V-8 and V-6 engines.
The new Duratec 3.7-liter will be very
similar to the 2010 Lincoln MKS 3.5-liter V-6 engine which produces
263 horsepower. |
